The director of Meddy Home Care Clinic, Yasumasa Takahashi has been dealing with patients’ anxiety 24 hours a day using internet, and from now we will visit patients’ homes to palliate their pain.
If you don’t feel comfortable at home after starting home care,
we will help you get in to a hospital affiliated with our clinic.
Even when you are in the hospital, we will communicate with your doctor and consultation service staff, and if you recover, you can leave the hospital and start the home care again.
What is most important is to live happily without feeling pain wherever you are.
Our mission is to make you feel easy and happy, whatever the situation is.
Collaboration with hospitals
The greatest concern the patients and their families might have is whether they can stay in hospital or not.We advise you to make a temporary reservation for an affiliated hospital (hospice),
in order to relieve such concern as much as possible.
You need to visit the hospital once, but once it’s finished, you will be admitted to the hospital quickly when it’s needed due to pain for example.
We can introduce a palliative care hospital (hospice) which is affiliated with us.
If there is a hospital you would like, we can also help you apply for admission.
If you recover after staying in the hospital for a while,
we can also arrange for you to leave the hospital.
However, what is most important for you is to feel easy at home without staying in a hospital.
80 % of the patients we take care of, are at home receiving home care,
without needing to stay in hospital.
We do our best to support patients and their families.
One of the reasons why I established Home Care Clinic is I wanted to develop a patient-centered medical service, and I will complete the mission.

It is important to establish a system for providing home care before the patient’s condition gets worse, rather than starting after it happens.
We can continue oral anti-cancer drug treatment, and hormone treatment for breast cancer is possible too.
Nothing is impossible with home care.
There are patients who are in hospital for a long period for various reasons, although they want to leave. We can take over those patients since we can also provide postoperative drain care.
